How we use information
AutoCares uses information to manage accounts, connect customers with mechanics, coordinate roadside assistance, support vehicle diagnostics, provide AI troubleshooting guidance, process payments where applicable, send service notifications, improve the application, prevent misuse, and comply with law.
Location and communication
Location access supports nearby mechanic discovery, maps, navigation, and active assistance. After a request is accepted, relevant contact details may be shared between the customer and mechanic. Calls and WhatsApp conversations are governed by those providers’ own policies.
AI and OBD-II features
AI responses are informational and should not replace professional inspection. Compatible Bluetooth OBD-II devices may provide available diagnostic readings depending on the vehicle and hardware. Do not submit passwords, payment credentials, or unnecessary sensitive information to the assistant.
Third-party services
AutoCares may use Google Maps, WhatsApp, AI providers, cloud hosting and databases, and payment providers. Each provider may process information under its own policies.
Security and retention
We use access controls, secure communication, account authentication, and database permissions intended to protect information. We retain information as reasonably necessary for accounts, services, disputes, fraud prevention, payments, and legal obligations, then delete or anonymize it where appropriate.
Your choices and rights
